me and mister rain
we took a walk today
a silent cold companionship
both of us quiet in our pain.
we tried dancing together
but it just didn't feel right,
jumping in puddles that no longer liberate.
we felt alone, the both of us
me and mister rain
in this Friday stormy noonbreak
No cheery yellow umbrellas to speak of
only the drip drap of brine.
And i thought he would stay,
but mister rain,
he left.
And the hot bath soon after
didn't help,
i still missed him all the same.
un moment à se rappeler
. a moment to remember.
