this is what happens when you read about the poisson curve with regard to true love, listen to everybody loves someone...
-
gripped with a sudden anxiety,
can we ever find true love,
will we ever have the luck to find to true love.
the love between two people that is not binded by blood,
the essence of it distilled into
meaning;
understanding;
emotion.
Or rather a soulmate.
We all need someone ,
someone that doesn't have to be there all the time,
just someone who understands
when to say what,
when to say naught.
someone to love us for who we are,
not unconditional love
but really for who we are,
the quirks,
the soul/essence of being/the intangible thing beneath our physical shell of flesh and blood.
to convey a thousand words,
of feelings that words can't describe
and no one can put a finger to.
with a single glance, gaze, touch-
the need of reassurance,
to know that we're not alone.
we don't have to be the perfect fit,
we don't have to feel the same way.
we don't have to feel any shame, pride, dignity when pursuing love.
there are no lies, no facades, no faults,
all past caring.
yet when we confront it sometimes,
it's blinding truth,
the stark reality of the risk involved,
to surrender ourselves (and our reason)
is too much for us to take.
so we shy away,
afraid to follow that hope.
in fear of rejection?
and so we get on with our quiet lives and timid ways,
bits of our hearts tearing along the way,
when we see what once could have been ours,
is now only in others.
-
of course, true love is not limited to a person. it can be dance, music, art, writing anything that speaks to you. in the same way, giving up your craft (in fear of failure, committment required) is equilavent to giving up your love. like how there is the deepdeepdeep regret in my heart whenever i watch ballet performances. :(
however, a craft still does not equal to a person (sadly). as no matter how we are absorbed in it, nor how much it reaches out to us, it's a journey of discovery within yourself. you need to find that particular piece of music to soothe your soul.
a person is vastly different. humans are unpredictable. and that's why at the end of the day, we need someone, not something.
un moment à se rappeler
. a moment to remember.
