oh dear, reading my past posts on current currants, reflecting on the books i have read these few months... i'm devastated at the deplorable state of my intellectual growth.

flooded with IB curriculum, somewhat diminishes my previously voracious appetite for books. it's either due to the amount of cca stuff i'm involved in or perhaps my own slothfulness or maybe even the overkill of humanities i take, resulting a bit too much words for both my eyes and my brains. :s

then sometimes you just have this 'cool' books you WANT to start reading (eg. psychology for dummies, the runaway jury, maya) but you are bogged down with stuff like practical reports, essays and general laziness :(

on another note, i have just discovered that classical music is my first and everlasting love. as weird and fuddy duddy as it may sound :P, classical music placates my soul. i can listen to it anywhere, any time. even my other favourites such as jazz, rock and choral (sometimes) are a bit irksome if the mood isn't right. this is probably due the 'classical music' esque atmosphere i ahve been brought up in where i listen to classical music during breakfast, in the car, before sleeping, throughout the weekends.

my dad is a classical music nut. (you know what he used to do during his ns saturday night offs? he would take a rickety bus down to victoria concert hall to listen to sso's concerts, miss dinner, enjoy the music and rush back to camp before the 12 mn curfew)

un moment à se rappeler
. a moment to remember.

"What's in a name?
That which we call
a rose
By any other word
would smell as sweet."

-Romeo and Juliet
