Our souls, whose faculties can comprehend
The wondrous architecture of the world,
And measure every wand'ring planet's course,
Still climbing after knowledge infinite,
And always moving as the restless spheres
Wills us to wear ourselves and never rest...
1 Tamburlaine, II, vii 21-6
Christopher Marlowe
isn't that beautiful?
i was feeling so disillusioned and tired at the library today, trying and struggling to read faustus, hamlet & volpone... i must say faustus appealed greatly to me, i would have continued reading if possible. volpone on the other hand.. :/ wasn't great at all.
but when i reached this part in faustus, i was filled with this renewed sense of optimism and love for literature. :)
and that reminded me once more about how i don't regret taking IB despite complaining. haha, because i do get to learn and read about a lot more things than i think i would have in jc. :)
un moment à se rappeler
. a moment to remember.
